As we prepare to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Guernsey’s liberation after WWII, St. Andrews parish invites you to join in an exciting community project! We’re gathering volunteers and sponsors to help design and build a carnival float that will be a memorable part of our commemorative festivities on May 9th, 2025. This year’s float will pay homage to Guernsey's iconic Little Chapel, capturing its beauty and significance as a symbol of resilience, creativity, and faith during challenging times.
Our goal is to create a float that will be pulled by a tractor and bring to life the essence of the Little Chapel for all to enjoy. Whether you have skills in construction, design, or simply a passion for Guernsey’s heritage, your contribution can make a lasting impact. Sponsors are also welcome to help fund the materials and resources needed for this meaningful project. Join us in making this 80th anniversary celebration one to remember by being a part of this unique tribute to our Parish and island’s history.
